  • Open enrollment for individuals and families closed on March 31, 2014, but some individuals and families may qualify for programs that include year-round enrollment, or special enrollment. Minnesota residents should click on the above MNSure link to get more information about obtaining health insurance coverage in Minnesota.
    The next open enrollment period will be November 15, 2014 through February 15, 2015, with coverage taking effect no earlier than January 1, 2015.

  • Portico Healthnet is a nonprofit health and human service organization that can help you find out if you are eligible for affordable health care coverage and they can help you apply. They also provide information about where to find low cost medical, dental, and mental health services in the community, as well as other services as needed. Portico‚Äôs staff is multi-lingual and can assist you regardless of the language you speak.

  • This is the state agency that oversees the insurance industry in Minnesota. The Consumer Response Team is there to help answer questions about insurance and help if you have a dispute or claim against your insurer. They can be reached at 651-296-2488 or 800-657-3602.

  • The Minnesota Department of Human Services provides Minnesotans with a variety of services intended to help people live as independently as possible.

  • The Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, under the guidance of the Minnesota Board on Aging, has in-person or over the phone counseling available to assist seniors and caregivers with their Medicare and health insurance questions.
