Cancer Legal Care's services are available only to Minnesota residents.

  • taking time off of work, job protection rights, prohibitions against discrimination

  • wills, health care directives, powers of attorney

  • Social Security disability benefits, eligibility requirements, applying

  • legal care to help with long-term financial supports, connection to resources for immediate needs

  • health insurance issues, coverage, claim denials, appeals

  • Learn more about issues of importance to patients, survivors, and their loved ones.

We cannot help with the following issues—

  • Criminal

  • Family (divorces, child custody, spousal maintenance)

  • Litigation (court actions, court dates, hearings, trials)
