I travel and spend quite a bit of time in other states during the year, is my Minnesota Health Care Directive valid in other states?
Each state has their own laws regarding Health Care Directives. You would be wise to find out what the laws are regarding Health Care Directives in other states where you spend time. For example some states may require both witnesses and a notary to create a valid Health Care Directive.
